Day 1: Arrival in Udaipur – Lake Pichola & Old City
Arrive in Udaipur and meet your driver at the airport, railway station, or hotel. After check-in and some rest, begin your sightseeing tour of the city.
Start with the impressive City Palace, one of Udaipur's most famous landmarks. Explore its courtyards, balconies, museums, royal rooms, and beautiful views over Lake Pichola.
Continue to Jagdish Temple, an important historic temple located close to the City Palace. Later, walk through the old city streets and visit Gangaur Ghat, a peaceful waterfront location overlooking Lake Pichola.
In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola and see the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and surrounding hills from the water. The evening light creates a beautiful view of the lake and palaces.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 2: Udaipur Sightseeing – Gardens, Lakes & Monsoon Palace
After breakfast, continue your Udaipur sightseeing tour.
Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, a historic garden known for fountains, green lawns, marble features, and peaceful surroundings. Then continue to Fateh Sagar Lake, another popular lake surrounded by the Aravalli hills.
You can also visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, where you can learn about Rajasthan's folk traditions, costumes, music, and puppetry.
In the afternoon, explore local markets where you can shop for handicrafts, textiles, traditional artwork, jewelry, and souvenirs.
Later, drive towards Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, located on a hill overlooking Udaipur. The palace offers wide views of the city, lakes, and surrounding countryside. It is especially attractive around sunset.
Return to your hotel and enjoy your second night in Udaipur.
Day 3: Udaipur – Local Exploration & Departure
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for shopping or relaxed exploration. Depending on your departure schedule, you can visit a few additional places such as Doodh Talai, Maharana Pratap Smarak, or the local handicraft markets.
